Related information extension
Rubber antioxidant TMQ (RD) has anti-oxidation effect and is applicable to almost all types of elastomers in various applications, with a wide range of temperature applications. - The durability in rubber enables the rubber compound to have long-term thermal aging resistance. - It can prevent the rubber compound from being oxidized by heavy metals - with high molecular weight, slow migration in the rubber matrix, and is not easy to spray frost. Formula information - in the case of dry rubber application, RD is the main antioxidant, and the dosage is between 0.5 and 3.0 phr. In light color products, if discoloration is not allowed, the dosage shall not exceed 0.5 parts. - RD generally does not affect the vulcanization characteristics of natural rubber and synthetic rubber, but will reduce the storage stability of neoprene. RD shall be used in combination with 4020 if the use requires ozone resistance and flexure fatigue resistance. - Oxygen resistance protection: 0.5-3.0 phr RD - general anti-degradation protection: 0.5-1.0 phr RD+1.0 phr 4020 - high performance protection: 1.0-2.0 phr RD+1.0-3.0 phr 4020 - using RD in peroxide vulcanized EPDM and NBR compounds can obtain excellent heat resistance, with slight impact on crosslinking density. The typical dosage of RD in this application is 0.25 to 2.0 parts. - In latex application, RD powder dispersion can be used if slight coloring is allowed, and the amount of dry base is 0.5 to 2.0 phr.
